The future of Granton Parish Church and its buildings are now assured.

Following a nail biting few minutes when representations were made on behalf of Stockbridge Parish Church, Presbytery voted overwhelmingly in favour of the amendment to the 2023 Presbytery Plan with the re-designation of ourselves, Inverleith St Serf’s and Wardie from “B” to “A”.

This means that we can continue the process of union with Newhaven Church and the development of a Team Ministry with the eventual calling of a minister to join Rev Peter Bluett to jointly lead us as a united parish – name yet to be decided.
